According to the organization, demand is on the rise for buildings that house distributors and data centers, as well as microchip plants, battery plants and healthcare facilities, while demand for new office buildings and hospitality facilities has slowed. As a result, demand for conduit, and especially larger sizes of conduit, is increasing. 

The Steel Tube Institute said its members are prepared to respond. 

"American steel conduit manufacturers produce the highest quality steel tube products in the world," Crawford said. "Our members are proud to support the country's infrastructure needs in the booming logistics, IT and healthcare industries with safe, sustainable steel conduit," said executive director Dale Crawford.
